Ben joined the team in 2024 as an ecologist with a focus in ecological restoration and wetland science. Ben’s background in ecological restoration encompasses experience as both a researcher and practitioner. His previous work in research has ranged from forest entomology and stand management with the USDA Forest Service, to evaluation of natural climate solutions and wetland biogeochemistry while earning a Masters in Environmental Science at Yale School of the Environment. As a practitioner, Ben has logged thousands of hours leading crews in invasive species management, participated in over 100 prescribed burns, and several large stream restorations while utilizing heavy machinery. At William Kenny Associates, Ben is responsible for ecological assessments and surveys as well as assisting in wetland delineations and wetland permitting.
